RULES

HERE'S THE DOWN LOW:

Studio/All Star:

Prep (4 or less hours per week)

Elite (5 or more hours per week)

Schools will be divided into 1A/2A/3A/4A based on school classification.​

Age Rules 

Please use the average age level as of January 1st, 2025 of season year when registering your Studio/All Star routines.  If average is .5 or higher please round up.  (Example average age is 8.5 team would bump to junior)

Fees

Upon registration an invoice will be sent to you to be paid via school/studio check. 

Solo - $75

Duo/Trio - $75

Group - $100

Awards

Time Limits

Music

Overall awards will be presented for each Division/Group Size/Entry Level.  Number of overalls will be determined by a 50% rule. (Example: 20 routines competed in the Mini/Elite/Group bracket = 10 overall placings. Top 3 will trophy 4-10 place will receive a certificate)

Best Costume will be awarded per award ceremony (voted by judging panel) and presented a plaque.

Best Choreography will be awarded per award ceremony (voted by judging panel) and presented a plaque.

​

Midwest's Best (highest score of the session regardless of Division/Group Size/Category/Level) will be awarded per award ceremony and presented a banner.

All routines must be under 2 minutes 30 seconds.  If needed extra time may be provided upon request for an additional fee.

Music will be played by coach/director.  Please bring laptop/phone/iPad as well as appropriate aux attachment.  Reminder to silence notifications/airplane mode prior to arriving to music table. Each Directory/Coach is responsible for proof of purchase.

Props

Waiver

A waiver doc will be sent along with invoice following registration for each participant to sign and return at registration.

No standing props will be allowed on the Gymnasium floor without a thick felt divider covering all edgers to prevent damage.
